All of our group Spanish classes (although not yet our Discussion Series courses) can be taken for graduate-level continuing education credit through Lewis and Clark College's Graduate School of Education and Counseling.
Students enroll concurrently at Castalia and Lewis and Clark and receive one semester-hour credit on an official transcript. Concurrent registration must be arranged prior to starting the class, and an additional $100 is payable to Lewis and Clark.
Credit is earned on a pass-fail basis. Registration and payment to Lewis and Clark does not guarantee a passing grade. In order to pass, students must, by the end of the course, satisfactorily demonstrate the skills outlined in the course description, in the judgment of the instructor. Additionally, students must attend no less than seven class sessions, complete the majority of homework assignments, and actively participate in classroom activities. At levels beyond Intermediate II, students will be required to give an in-class presentation.
