Group courses
Ten-week group courses are $250, including materials.
The following discounts are available:
Bring a Friend: When you refer a friend who registers for a 10-week course for the first time, each of you will receive a $25 credit that can be applied to any future course taken at Castalia. Your friend does not have to take the same class as you. This discount can be combined with other offers (such as the Early Bird discount), and it is valid for up to twelve months.
Early Bird: 10% off your tuition (a $25.00 value) when you pay two weeks or more before the term begins (see schedule for specific dates). Discount can be combined with other offers.
Private lessons
We offer a free introductory lesson, with no obligation to continue. After the initial meeting, private lessons must be prepaid. Five lessons cost $200 ($40/hour) and ten lessons cost $350 ($35/hour). Payments are valid for up to six months.
Make-up classes
If a student attending a group course must miss class, private make-up lessons can be arranged. Lessons cost $40/hour.
Cancellation policy
If you must cancel, contact us as soon as possible. For group classes, a $100 administrative fee will be charged, and the remainder can only be refunded up to 48 hours before the first class. Payments are not transferable.
If due to unforeseen circumstances—or in the unlikely event there are not enough registrations—a course has to be cancelled, students will be notified prior to the starting date and their payment refunded in full.
We charge for private lessons that are cancelled with less than 48 hours notice, or if a student does not show up.
Online registration
You can register and pay online for courses. Simply click on the class you are interested in and this will take you to the registration page.
Registration by mail
You can also register and pay by mail. Checks made out to Castalia Language Center should be sent to:

Do not forget to print, complete and enclose your registration form with the payment.
Note that your registration will only become effective upon receipt of your check, which must reach us before the stated deadline in order to benefit from the Early Bird discount (see schedule for specific dates).
All returned checks are subject to a $25 fee.
Gift certificates
Gift certificates are available. They are redeemable up to twelve months from purchase date.
